Obituary of David Anthony Lojacono

In Loving Memory of David Anthony Lojacono

David Anthony  Lojacono, age 68, passed away on March 11, 2026, in Amherst, New York. Born on October 20, 1957, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, David was the beloved son of Frank F. Lojacono and Carol  M. (Fragale) Lojacono.

David’s life was defined by a profound and lifelong commitment to faith and service. He spent the first half of his life in monastic devotion, traveling the world to serve God in various religious communities. This global mission of prayer and labor formed the foundation of his character, which he later brought to Venice, Florida.

For 20 years, David served as the Director of the Epiphany Cathedral Mercy House at 550 Cathedral. During his tenure, he helped countless individuals, providing a steady hand and a compassionate heart to those in need within the community. His legacy is one of quiet strength, grace, and an unwavering commitment to the "least of these."

David is survived by his loving siblings: Lisa Adams, Leah Lojacono, and Lori Lojacono. He was the cherished uncle to his five nephews and one niece, and will be deeply missed by his many friends, colleagues, and the global religious communities he touched.
