Emma Pfeiffer

Obituary of Emma L. (nee Prince) Pfeiffer

Of Cheektowaga, at age 104, I have gone to meet my Savior. Emma was one of nine children. When she was a young woman, she left her family in Stockton to make a bold move to Buffalo. Once there, she worked as a dental assistant, emergency room registrar at Sisters Hospital, an Insurance Company Office manager and for many years, sold real estate, retiring at age 90. During those years, Mom’s house was always the gathering place for many family and friends. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and more recently, her great grandchild. Emma touched many lives in her later years by sharing her framed Bible verse coloring pages and puzzles, as a message of encouragement. She had a tender heart and was always thinking of others. To know her was to love her. She will be greatly missed. Emma is the Beloved wife of the late Clarence Pfeiffer; Devoted mother of Robert Pfeiffer and Ellen (late James) Loos; Loving grandmother of David, Erich, Matthew (Kate), Annelies and Merissa; Cherished great grandmother of Isla Leanne; Predeceased by sisters and brothers survived by nieces, nephews and her very dear friends Cindy Szostak, John and Cheryl Deth who were by her side through it all. Visitation will be in the Cichon-Borgosz Funeral Home, Inc., 4929 Broadway, Depew, Thursday 3-6 PM where a Celebration of Life will be held at 6 PM immediately following visitation. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in Infant of Prague Church 921 Cleveland Drive, Cheektowaga, NY Friday at 10 AM. Please assemble at Church.
