Obituary of James Derkovitz

James Derkovitz, 74, of Depew, New York, passed away on October 9, 2024. Born and raised in Depew, Jim was a passionate and devoted family man who enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. He had a deep love for motorcycles, spending countless hours riding and working on his bike, and sharing that passion with his friends and daughters. Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa (Teri) Derkovitz, and his two daughters, Carlene Derkovitz, Shelby Derkovitz [engaged to] Bobby Michienzi. He will also be remembered by his faithful dog, Crowbar, who was always by his side. Jim will be remembered not only for his love of the open road but also for his kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering loyalty to his family and friends. His presence in the lives of those who knew him will be deeply missed, but his memory will continue to ride on in the hearts of those who loved him.
