To Dolores's Family, My most sincere sympathy is sent to all of you, her son the, "Serta Man", Dolores loved you with all of her heart. To the wonderful daughter-in-law whose letter asking (begging) Dolores to come and live with you, I read as Dolores told me what a wonderful woman you were and how much she loved you and the precious grandchildren you gave her. You'll are truly a blessed family to have had Dolores. My name is Ruth Diebold and I'm with Meals on Wheels. I had the most wonderful assignment of delivering to Dolores, I was one of her, "Wieners", and my grandchildren were her," little Wieners". I loved Dolores, she was the bright spot in my day on Mondays and Fridays. My granddaughter Sara has a Serta Lamb key chain from Dolores's son's business, she was so proud of her family. She told me about her wonderful husband and showed me the huge cabinet he had built for her in the bathroom and then I had to go to her sitting room and see the display cabinet with her cherished items. If she was feeling a little down, she would show me her little book of her memories she kept by her chair and then she would say something and we would laugh and then she'd call me her favorite name for me, "you Wiener". I always left laughing. I send all my thoughts of comfort and prayers to each of you Ruth Diebold.
