Candy,
Please accept my sincerest condolences for the loss of your husband. Bob was an outstanding friend, mentor and firearms instructor. I cannot thank you both enough for the love, the kindness and the generosity you have shown me. You accepted me into your home and into your hearts when I was downtrodden and struggling many years ago. I may have been poor in my finances, but I was never poor in friendship, because I had you both.
Bob will be remembered as one of the kindest and most trustworthy individuals I have ever known; the kind of man I wish could have been my father. I remember the evening in 2010 that Frankie introduced Bob and I at the gun club Christmas party. I'll also remember the visit that you and Bob made to Melbourne to see me in 2012, and you slept in cocoons at the "fleabag motel!" I fondly remember our visit together in Rochester, at Christmas 2013, when Dominic was just 2 months old! Candy, Dominic is almost 9 now, and he still sleeps with the quilt you made for him!
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. I pray that we will all be reunited in heaven someday.
