Devoted mother of Mary (Frank) Atlas, Thomas Thornton Jr. and John (Bogusha) Thornton; Loving grandmother of Stephany (Joseph) Johnson, Steven Atlas, Brandon Atlas, Michael Thornton, Paul Thornton, Olivia Thornton, Courtney Thornton and Mitchell Thornton; Cherished great grandmother of Charlie, Timmy and Maddy Sue; Dear sister of Margaret (late Paul) Heinz, late Butch Peltier and Patricia Stroehlein; Also survived by nieces and nephews. Visitation in the Cichon-Borgosz Funeral Home Inc. 4929 Broadway, Depew Tuesday 3-7 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Pompeii Church 158 Laverack Avenue, Lancaster Wednesday at 10 AM. Please assemble at Church. Flowers gratefully declined. Mrs. Thornton was a retired Registered Dietitian at the NYS Veterans Home, a Eucharistic Minister, an avid animal lover, dedicated Hockey Mom and loved to travel.
