Art was the sunshine in any room he entered. He loved to laugh and oh boy could he belt out a tune! I will miss him terribly and will always be honored to have called him DAD!

To the family of Arthur Ploscyca (wife Florence and son James)
Sally (wife) and I (Ron Jakubowski) are so sorry to read about Arthur`s passing. We have not connected for many years, however, my grandfather (Adolf and my grandmother (Helen) Ploszczyca) who lived on Ellicott St. and my mom (Rose and father Louis Jakubowski) who lived on Columbia Avenue spoke highly and often about Arthur. Florence, I knew Lou and Bernice Ferry, as well as, your brother Walter with whom I played many rounds of golf at LCC . I attended SS Peter&Paul elementary school with your niece Mary. After all of the above backround information I am sure you will remember all of us..
Please accept our condolences for the loss of Arthur. Know you are in our thoughts and prayers and that we care. We are praying prayers of comfort and peace for all of you.
With sympathy and love,
Ron and Sally Jakubowski

Hello Marsha. My heartfelt condolences on the loss of your Dad. May God bless the entire Ploscyca family on this most sad occasion. Art and Dan will now be watching over all of you from above. Dan has a spot at the end of my bar in the basement. He and a number of my deceased friends get together with me nightly for a couple beers. I'm sure he'll bring Art with.
Please keep me in mind for the tribute get together. Thanks, Gary J.
